Privacy Policy

Caviar Brand Studio is a brand and marketing studio operated by Corvidae Collective LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company doing business as Caviar Brand Studio (“Caviar Brand Studio”). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It covers our website, caviarbrandstudio.com, and our internal client performance platform, Caviar Command Center (the "Platform"), which our team uses to manage and report on our clients' marketing.

1. Information we collect

When you visit our website or contact us

  • Information you choose to give us, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name, and the details of your message.

  • Basic usage information collected by our website platform, Squarespace, and by analytics tools, such as pages viewed, browser type, and general location. This may involve cookies. Squarespace's own privacy policy explains how it handles this data.

When you work with us as a client

  • Contact and billing details for you and your team.

  • Business information you share with us during our work together, such as brand materials, strategy documents, and goals.

  • Performance data for your business, which we bring into the Platform to manage and report on your marketing. This can include:

    • website analytics and search performance data from your Google accounts (see Section 3)

    • Google Business Profile reviews, ratings, and performance data

    • online store sales and order data from your ecommerce platform

    • social media analytics reports that our team exports from platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok and uploads to the Platform

    • publicly available information about your market and competitors, such as public ratings and search trends

Team members

  • If you are a member of the Caviar Brand Studio team, we collect your name, email address, and login details to give you access to the Platform.

2. How we use information

We use information to:

  • respond to inquiries and communicate with you

  • deliver our services, including strategy, content, reporting, and our monthly and quarterly performance reviews

  • display your performance data to Caviar Brand Studio team members in the Platform, and prepare reports and recommendations for you

  • generate summaries, alerts, and draft reports with the help of an AI service provider (see Section 4)

  • keep the Platform secure and working properly

  • meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We do not sell personal information or client data, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Google user data

When a client authorizes the Platform to connect to their Google accounts, the Platform requests read-only access to:

  • Google Analytics: website traffic, engagement, conversion, and ecommerce reporting data

  • Google Search Console: search performance data, such as search queries, clicks, impressions, and rankings

  • Google Business Profile: reviews, ratings, and profile performance data, such as views, calls, website clicks, and direction requests

How we use it. We use this data only to show the client's performance in the Platform and to prepare that client's reports and recommendations. Caviar Brand Studio team members working on the client's account view this data as part of the services the client has engaged us to provide.

How we store it. Data is stored in our Platform's database, hosted by our service providers in the United States. Access tokens for connected accounts are stored encrypted. Data is protected by access controls so it is visible only to authorized Caviar Brand Studio team members.

How we share it. We do not sell Google user data. We do not use it for advertising, retargeting, or credit or lending decisions. We do not transfer it to third parties except:

  • service providers that host and operate the Platform on our behalf (see Section 4)

  • where needed for security or to comply with the law

  • as part of a merger or acquisition, with your consent

Limited Use. Caviar Brand Studio's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Removing access. You can remove the Platform's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/linkedapps, or by contacting us. Removing access stops new data from being collected. To have previously collected data deleted, contact us (see Section 7).

4. Who we share information with

We share information only with service providers that help us operate, and only as needed for them to do so:

  • Squarespace: website hosting and contact forms

  • Supabase: Platform database, logins, and file storage

  • Vercel: Platform hosting

  • Google: the Google services you connect, as described above

  • Anthropic: AI processing, used to draft summaries and reports in the Platform. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, Anthropic may not train its models on this content (Anthropic).

  • Zoho: invoicing

  • Google Workspace: email, file storage, and contract eSignatures

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, our clients, or others.

5. How long we keep information

We keep client data for as long as we are working together. When an engagement ends, we delete the client's Platform data within 90 days unless the client asks us to keep it or the law requires us to keep it longer. Business records such as invoices are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Website inquiries are kept for as long as they're useful for responding to you.

6. How we protect information

We use reasonable safeguards, including:

  • encrypted connections

  • encrypted storage of account access tokens

  • individual logins for each team member

  • access rules that limit each person to the data they need

No system is perfectly secure, but we take protecting your information seriously.

7. Your choices

You can:

  • ask us what information we hold about you or your business

  • ask us to correct or delete it

  • disconnect any account you've connected to the Platform

8. Children's privacy

Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. If we start using Google user data in a new way, we'll update this policy and ask for your consent first.
